Top-Mounted Design

The Q500 Plus measuring chamber is positioned above the collection bag, creating a one-way flow away from the patient. The chamber empties completely by gravity into the drainage bag, helping to prevent backflow.

Double-Lumen Free-Flow System

The double-lumen drainage tube allows urine and air to circulate independently, supporting continuous drainage and helping to prevent urine remaining within tubing loops. This supports complete transfer of urine into the measuring chamber for more accurate output monitoring.

Two Non-Return Valves

Two non-return valves provide additional protection against backflow. One valve is positioned at the top of the drainage bag to prevent urine returning towards the measuring chamber, while a second valve is located before the sampling connector to help prevent fluid flowing back towards the catheter.

Easy Clinical Handling

The Easy Empty Tab enables quick one-handed emptying of the measuring chamber. The system also incorporates a bayonet-style twist-and-click connection between the chamber and drainage bag for secure attachment and convenient bag replacement.
